Read the contents list
The Ello Everyday set listed in our first selection has nine containers and nine lids. Its 18-piece label counts both. Keep that distinction when comparing it with another set.
Compare useful capacity
Count how many of each size you can use. A collection of small containers and one of large containers serve different meals, even when the package count matches.
Check how you will carry it
Leak-resistant is a product description to read carefully. Check the lid mechanism and transport instructions before using a container for liquids in a bag.
Work out the cost per useful item
Divide the full purchase cost by the number of containers you will use, rather than by every listed piece. Include delivery, and keep size differences in view.
Leave room for a smaller purchase
If only a few pieces fit your routine, compare buying those separately. A larger bundle is useful when its contents are useful to you.
Compare what will go into your cupboard, not only the largest number on the box.
