Match the full fragrance name
Start with the brand, collection, edition and concentration. Eau de Toilette (EDT) and Eau de Parfum (EDP) are different fragrance formats; Sephora’s guide explains their typical concentration differences. An Intense or limited edition also needs its own comparison. Use the exact label instead of treating every bottle in the same collection as interchangeable.
Compare the labeled volume
Copy the mL or fl oz from each merchant listing. Keep the unit consistent and compare the same fragrance edition. A refill, travel spray, miniature and full bottle can serve different purposes; check whether a refill requires a separate bottle.
Work out the price per mL
Illustration only, not a live offer: a 50 mL bottle at $60 costs $1.20/mL; a 100 mL bottle at $90 costs $0.90/mL. The larger bottle is 25% cheaper per mL but needs $30 more upfront. These example prices exclude shipping and tax. Choose the quantity you expect to use, then compare the actual delivered totals.
Read a gift set item by item
List each included fragrance, concentration and volume. Do not count lotion or shower gel as perfume volume. A small bottle of a second scent may be useful for trying something new, but it is not the same purchase as more of your preferred fragrance. Decide how much value those extras have for you.
Check the final conditions
Confirm the seller, shipping charge, coupon eligibility, membership requirement and applicable return terms on the merchant page. A gift-with-purchase threshold or cashback offer is separate from an immediate price reduction. Keep the source observation date in view; a recorded price does not guarantee today’s stock or checkout price.
Match the version, compare the usable quantity, and check the delivered cost. The best-sized bottle is the one that fits your use and budget.
